BELOIT - The Rock County Fury not only had plenty of offense Saturday, they also had an air-tight defense as goalie McKaylie Buescher topped 24 shots to post her fourth straight shutout.

Alyssa Knauf and Kaitlyn Beyer each had two goals to spark the attack as the Fury posted a 7-0 victory over the visiting Fox Cities Stars Saturday at Edwards Ice Arena.

"We played a great game," Fury head coach Luke Steurer said. "It was against a tough team. We played a complete game on offense and defense. Our forwards and defense did a great job of collapsing in the middle to pick up the lose puck and their forwards to help our goalie. We knew we had some things to work on from our last two games and the girls came our ready to play and focused."

Maggy Henschler had a goal and three assists. Zoie Steig had a goal and Ella Silha collected her first varsity goal as well.

"It's great to have multiple goal scorers on the ice on three different lines," Steurer said.

The Fury host Stoughton Tuesday at Edwards Ice Arena.
