BELOIT - As a way to give back to the community, the Beloit Youth Hockey Association Bantam B Hockey Team has helped sheltered animals with the Rock County Humane Society.
"I am incredibly proud of these young men, and women," said head coach Clinton Anderson. "They have a true interest in giving back, and improving the reputation of the Beloit community. Having them help area non-profits, like the Humane Society is just the beginning. They have already inquired about their next charitable project."
Anderson said his team is recognizing the importance of donations.
The Bantam B Team did not only succeed off the ice, but on the ice as well. During their four games that weekend, they won three. Two of those wins came against their rival, Janesville.
The team will be playing in its first tournament of the season in Black River Falls this weekend.
