Barbara J. Alexander, 60, of rural Brodhead, died on Monday, October 1, 2012 at the UW Hospital-Madison.

She was born on September 21, 1952 in Beloit, Wisconsin to George and Marian (Phillips) Kliver. She was a graduate of Beloit Memorial High School, Class of 1970. Mrs. Alexander was employed at Frito-Lay.

She liked working around her home and yard. She always had many “projects” ongoing. She loved being with her grandchildren and her family was always first in her heart and life. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and sister.

She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children: David (Annette Dombrowski) - Menasha, WI. Glenn Alexander - Theodore, AL. Charles Alexander - Evansville, WI. Nicole (Seth) Gravert - Janesville, WI. Grandchildren: Brett, Brittney, Jake Blake, Lilly Bean, Willow, and Mystic. Her siblings: Mary Kampka - Sun Prairie, WI. Virginia (David) Hayden - Robstown, Texas. Charles (Sam) Kliver - Bosie, Idaho. Karen Voss - Janesville, WI. Other Family Members: Aunt Judy (Hans) Miller - Beloit, WI. Mother-in-law: Vera Cross - Beloit, WI. Brother and sisters-in-law: Anna (Phil) Keys - Sterling, IL. Joseph (Sue) Alexander - Branson, MO. Paul (Marla) Alexander - Beloit, WI. John (Patty) Alexander - Beloit, WI. She is further survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Glen.

The funeral service for Mrs. Barbara Alexander will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012 at Second Congregational Church starting at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Douglas Gray will officiate. Burial will be at Floral Lawns Cemetery, South Beloit, Ill.

Friends may call on Thursday, October 4 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Rosman, Uehling, Kinzer Funeral Home and Cremation
