Alyssa Amber Morris, 14, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012.
She was born May 23, 1997 in Janesville, WI, the daughter of Jerry and Wendy Morris. Alyssa was a freshman at Beloit Turner High School and was a cheerleader, choir member, participated in the plays and was a stagehand.
Alyssa was a happy, sweet, and lovable girl who was never afraid to be herself; from her hair colors, love of unicorns, and everything out of the ordinary, to her tails and silly antics. She was truly the most original girl and it resonated with everyone she came in contact with. Alyssa was always the first to start a conversation with anyone who was new or seemed uncomfortable. She loved so much and was loved by so many in return.
Survivors include her parents, Jerry and Wendy Morris of Beloit, WI; brothers and sister, Jerry Ryan (Liane) Morris of Jacksonville, N.C., Ashley Amber Morris and Jacob Ryan Morris both of Beloit, WI; paternal grandparents, Jerry Earl (Diane) Morris of Janesville, WI, and Diane Morris of Green Bay, WI; maternal grandfather, Jerry Trolinger of Licking, MO; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Esther “Sue” Bingham.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Reverend Larry Froemming officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
