Alice "Sharlene" Morello, 89, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 in her home.
Sharlene was born May 9, 1928 the daughter of Hilda (Bothun) and Leo Leroy Sherman of Janesville, WI. She was a graduate of Janesville High School class of 1946. Shar married Thomas MacDonald and had one son, Lanny MacDonald. She then married Ronald Korbol and had four more sons, John Korbol, Mike Korbol, Jeff Korbol and Ron Korbol. Shar later married Anthony Morello and together they enjoyed traveling the world.
Shar was formerly employed by JC Penney, Urlakis & Duffy Dentistry and the American Cancer society. In life Shar was involved in many groups and organizations including, Beloit Family Services, Beloit Symphony Guild, St. Jude's Woman's Marian Guild, Intermediate Women's Club, the Star Zenith Boat Club, and many local Bridge clubs. She was also a volunteer at Beloit Memorial Hospital. Shar enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, entertaining, playing card games and painting.
Survivors include her five sons, Lanny MacDonad of Janesville, WI, John Korbol of Burbank, CA, Mike Korbol of Beloit, WI, Jeff (Holly) Korbol of Beloit, WI, and Ron (Teresa) Korbol of Beloit, WI; grandchildren, Amanda Werner, Joel MacDonald, Conrad Korbol, Matt Korbol, Tait Korbol, Karly Korbol, Kody (fiancÚ Ashley Sly) Korbol, and Keegan (Mikayla) Korbol; great grandchildren, Sophie, Phoebe and Max Werner; one sister, Helen Scheflow of Elgin, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and beloved dog, Gus.

She was predeceased by her parents, husbands Tom MacDonald and Ron Korbol, sisters Vivian and Betty Jane, and brother Dave.
A memorial visitation of remembrance for Shar will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her name to the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin, or Beloit Regional Hospice.
