Arlene L. Crusan, age 85 of Elkhorn, WI died Saturday November 25, 2017 surrounded by her loving family in her home. She was born December 25, 1931 to the late Charles and Ida (Nitz) Fischer in Beloit. Arlene graduated from South Beloit High School, class of 1950. She married Harry J. Crusan on August 25, 1951 at St. John Lutheran Church in Beloit. Arlene was a Charter member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Lake Geneva. She was also a member of the America Legion Auxiliary in Clinton. Arlene worked for many years on the farm assisting Harry. She also worked at Admiral and Holton Music until her retirement. Arlene enjoyed gardening, canning and staying active. She adored her grandchildren and loved being a grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Crusan; her five children, Colleen Loebs, Gloria (Roger) Johnson, June (Thomas) Crusan-Schuster, Sharrion Crusan & Teri (Lynn) Carder; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; her sister, Sandy (Les) Burkins; her brother, Charles (Debbie) Fischer; her sister in law, Deanne Fischer and many nieces and nephews.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, her two sisters, Shirley Fosnow and Elizabeth (Merle) Fisher, her brother, Gerald Fischer and her two sons in law, Michael Szymkowski & Terry Loebs.
Arlene's Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in the BRIAN G. MARK FUNERAL HOME, 504 Milwaukee Road, Clinton WI with Rev. William Wagner officiating. Friends will be received on Tuesday in the Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday in the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
