Beloit students back more diversity training

BELOIT — Beloit’s varsity girls soccer team doesn’t believe enough was done following the racist chant heard from the stands when they played at Elkhorn April 7, according to a statement delivered to the school board this week.

BELOIT — Nora Gard, one of two Beloit School Board members vying to be president at tonight’s reorganization meeting, has told the Beloit Daily News her rival Shannon Scharmer is unfit to hold the office because allegations about Scharmer’s past conduct and deceptions are true.
