Suspect who threatened Beloit woman sought

BELOIT - Beloit police are searching for a suspect who allegedly entered a home without permissions and threatened a woman inside, according to command staff.

Officers responded to the 1400 block of Yates Avenue at 12:43 p.m. and located a female victim who said she was threatened by an unidentified black man who pointed a gun at her and left, police said.

A description given by the sergeants office claims the suspect is in his early 20s, five feet five inches tall, weighing less than 130 pounds. The man was last seen leaving the area in a silver four door SUV.

Anyone with information is asked to call the department's nonemergency line at 608-757-2244.
