Beloit man faces hit and run injury charges

JANESVILLE - A Beloit man has been charged for allegedly striking a woman with a vehicle over July Fourth weekend, according to a Rock County criminal complaint.

Deshawn Reed, 42, is charged with hit and run injury after allegedly striking a woman as she attempted to retrieve a bag from her Cadillac CTS parked in the 200 block of Liberty Avenue on July 4, according to the complaint.

The woman suffered leg injuries from the incident but survived, the complaint said.
