Man won't be charged in drug overdose death

JANESVILLE - A New Mexico man arrested after he left the body of a fatal drug overdose victim on a school's property will not be charged in the incident, according to the Rock County District Attorney's Office.

Cory T. Sandoval, 26, was arrested on May 20 after the body of Dustin Grice, 29, was found on the grounds of Townview Elementary School on May 19.

The district attorney's office said there was no evidence to support intent to hide Grice's body, a felony charge. Sandoval was originally arrested on the charge of failing to aid a victim.
