Pickup truck parked in shed destroyed by fire

JANESVILLE - A pickup truck that was parked in a shed was destroyed by fire Wednesday, according to Janesville Fire Department reports.

The fire was reported shortly before 2:30 p.m. at 5063 Grand Videre Drive, according to a news release from the fire department. Smoke was coming from a 60-by-40-foot shed and a pickup truck was found fully involved in flame inside the shed. The fire was extinguished. Also in the shed was was snow blowers, lawn mowers, a skid loader and other equipment that suffered little damage.

Damage estimates included $20,000 in property damage and $30,000 in damage to contents.
