Applications are now available for JET grants

BELOIT - Visit Beloit is accepting applications from not-for-profit organizations for Joint Effort in Tourism (JET) grants until Feb 28.

The intent of the JET grant program is to assist not-for-profit organizations in developing and marketing events and activities that have the potential to attract visitors to the Beloit region, as well as enhance a visitor's experience and improve the quality of life for those who live in the Beloit area.

Grant applications can focus on a range of topics such as cultural, educational, recreational and/or artistic themes. Grants awards may be up to $10,000 and are for expenses such as technology, marketing, advertising and public relations.

Grant applications can be found online at www.visitbeloit.com/grants. Grants will be awarded in March. A second round of grant applications will be accepted beginning in August.
