Orfordville to receive loan for road projects

ORFORDVILLE - The Village of Orfordville is to receive a $2750,000 State Trust Fund Loan to help finance road projects.

The Board of Commissioners of Public Lands recently approved the loan. The board approved loans totaling $1,275,000 at Tuesday's meeting. The board also approved a $1 million loan to the Village of Somers in Kenosha County for development incentives for a Tax Increment Finance district.

The Board of Commissioners of Public Lands operates entirely on program revenue, without taxpayer money.
