September is Library Card Sign-up Month

Print Article

SOUTH BELOIT - The South Beloit Public Library joins with the American Library Association and libraries nationwide to encourage everyone to obtain a library card during September's Library Card Sign-up Month.

Since 1987, Library Card Sign-up Month has been held every September to mark the beginning of the school year.

The South Beloit Library reminds parents, caregivers and students that a free library card is one of the most cost effective back-to-school supplies they can obtain, providing access to STEAM programs, e-books, in person homework help and more.

This month, the South Beloit Library will give coupons for a free Wendy's Frosty to anyone that gets a new card or renews a soon-to-be expired card.
