Mark Twain kick off SLU seaon with humor

Hillary Gavan/Beloit Daily News Mark Twain re-enactor Tom Gilding gave a presentation at the fall kickoff event of the Society for Learning Unlimited (SLU) at First Congregational Church on Wednesday. Many more interesting speakers will be coming up at SLU events. Booklets with the schedule of classes and costs are available for pickup at Beloit Public Library, Rockton, Roscoe and South Beloit libraries, Turtle Creek Bookstore, Grinnell Hall Senior Center, Visit Beloit, Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce, Austin's Barbershop and the Hedberg Public Library in Janesville.
