PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies. Each week, teachers hand out "Gold Pride" tickets to students who help create a positive learning environment. These students place the tickets in the office for a weekly drawing for prizes.

Students drawn for the week of Feb. 19 were, sixth grade: Carlos Ramirez, Hope Felger, Khoa Nguyen, Chris Ontiveros and Mason Callahan. Seventh grade: Will Lauterbach, Darren Niedfeldt, Fernando Orbezo, Ireland Ott and Aiden Miller. Eighth grade: Armando Reyes-Campos, Dayton Yuhas, Kyle Zhe, Jailyn Mosley and Montello Conklin.
