Photo provided Brooklynn VanMarter, a Daisy Girl Scout from Beloit Troop 7012, along with thousands of other Girl Scouts across Badgerland Council, will hit the streets Saturday for the first day of the 2018 Girl Scout Cookie Program. All of the net profit from each box sold stays local. While girls and troops choose how to invest their earnings in community projects and personal enrichment opportunities, Badgerland Council uses cookie earnings to provide fun, educational adventures for its more than 7,300 members. Badgerland Girl Scouts are bringing back the popular Girl Scout S'mores cookies, along with other classics like Thin Mints, Caramel deLites and Peanut Butter Patties. The cost of a box is $4, with the exception of the gluten-free Trios which are $5.
