Old Stone Church to host free NARCAN training

ROCKTON - The Old Stone Church, 101 E. Union, Rockton, will host a free training session on the use of NARCAN, the drug which can temporarily reverse the effects from an overdose of heroin, narcotic pain medication or synthetic drugs such as Fentanyl, from 6-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21. Those attendees who are over 18 years old will receive a free NARCAN kit.

Register for the training session by going to Hope Over Addiction on Facebook or by calling Old Stone Church at 815-624-6212 by Feb. 16. The free training is offered through a grant with Hope Over Addiction and the Winnebago County Health Department.
