Lunch Break to Educate holds two new programs

BELOIT - The Beloit Historical Society's Lunch Break to Educate series continues with the following two events.

• "All Eyes on the Eagles" with Kurt Van Galder, former teacher and photographer, on Feb. 21. Van Galder will give a view of the eagles who call our region home through the lens of his camera. Reservations are due by Feb. 19

• "Beginning Genealogy" with Patricia M. Glover-Howard, M.Ed., on March 10. Glover-Howard will guide attendees through the steps to begin searching ancestors in the correct procedure. Reservations are due by March 10.

Both events will take place at the Lincoln Center, 845 Hackett St., Beloit from noon-1p.m. The cost is $20 and includes lunch, drink and the program. Reservations are required and can be made by phone at 608-365-7835 or online at www.beloithistoricalsociety.com.
