Events happening at Welty Environmental Center

BELOIT - The Welty Environmental Center, 1201 Big Hill Court, will hold two events this weekend.

"No School Friday: Migration, Adaption, Hibernation" will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9. Youth ages 7-12 years will explore the many animal adaptations that help animals survive winters in Wisconsin. The cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members.

"Owl Prowl: Evening Hike at Big Hill Park" will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10. For all ages. Participants will hike the trails at Big Hill Park and listen for the calls of the great birds. The cost is $5 for members and $7 for non-members.
