League of Women Voters invites public to panel on homelessness

BELOIT - The League of Women Voters invites the public to a community discussion on homelessness from 6:30-8 p.m. on Feb. 7 at the Beloit Public Library, 605 Eclipse Blvd.

"Homelessness in Beloit - How are they being served?" is the title of a series of public meetings by the League of Women Voters of Beloit on homelessness, who is affected, exploring services, causes and possible solutions. Panel speakers include representatives from Family Promise, Project 16:49 and Sparrows Nest.

Meeting participants are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or toiletry to the meeting and donations will be given to a local agency serving the homeless.
