Hormel Foods distributes annual profit sharing

BELOIT - Hormel Foods distributed its annual profit sharing to eligible hourly and salaried employees on Nov. 22. Profit sharing totaled $17.5 million in this 79th annual Thanksgiving Eve Day tradition.

The profit sharing program was started by Jay C. Hormel in 1938 and is voluntarily paid at the discretion of the company's Board of Directors.

The Beloit manufacturing facility produces Hormel Chili, Mary Kitchen Hash, Stagg Chili and Chi Chi's Salsa items.
