'Great service in South Beloit'

Print Article

Recently, on Jan. 2, the City of South Beloit decided to plow back the streets of South Beloit.

The driver of the snowplow hit a pile of leaves. By the time he got stopped the leaves were directly in front of my mailbox. He raised the plow and continued on, leaving a huge pile of leaves in front of my mailbox, making the mailman rather angry.

I immediately called my friend, Mike Murphy, and he came out and cleaned up a pickup load of leaves on the coldest day we've had in a long time.

This shows me that Mike will go out of his way to do a good job. I thank Mike and the City of South Beloit for this great service.
