'Players, protest on your own time'

Print Article

We don't need an act of Congress or an executive privilege order by our President Trump to do what the NFL should be doing to begin with about what's happening at the beginning of the professional football games.

NFL, take note please. Are you a business and conduct yourself as such? A business structure governs their company and the employees act accordingly.

On company time you must conduct yourselves by company rules. Football players as a team are employees or workers for the NFL, a company.

If you wish to protest about something do it on your own time, not the company's time.

So, NFL, do your homework. It's time to manage and set down the rules on the field. If there are football players (employees) who want to protest, have them do it on their own time, not yours.

Stop coddling these players who are choosing to use your time to show their disrespect for our flag and our national anthem. God bless America.
