PECATONICA - A huge midway, delicious food, live entertainment and much more are planned for the Winnebago County Fair.

Celebrating 97 years, the fair draws thousands of visitors. This year's event will take place Aug. 15-19 at 500 W. First Street. Here's a glance at what to expect:

Aug. 15 . Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 9-12. It is "Senior Day" and admission is free for those age 60 and over. Those who bring two non-perishable food items for the Rockford Rescue Mission will receive one free admission.

• Antique tractors will be on display from noon until 9 p.m.

• Family entertainment includes Bob Bohm Farmily Feud (1 p.m., 3 p.m., 7 p.m.); Magic Mike (2 p.m.); Dr. Watson Karaoke (3:30-5 p.m.); Los Moralitos Circus (2 p.m. and 6 p.m.)

• National Pedal Pullers registration will begin at 3 p.m. and the event will start at 4 p.m.

• The Winnebago County Fair Queen and Little Miss Pageant will begin at 6 p.m.

• Blue Steel will perform in the entertainment tent beginning at 7 p.m.

• Grandstand entertainment will be High Stakes Rodeo and Local barrel Racing at 7 p.m. Admission to the grandstand is $7. Kids 8 and under are free.

Aug. 16 . Fair is open from noon until midnight

• Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for seniors age 60 and older. It is "Kid's Day" and admission is free for those age 12 and under.

• Antique tractors will be on display from noon until 9 p.m. The Antique Tractor Parade is at 6:30 p.m.

• Family entertainment includes Magic Mike (noon and 2 p.m.); Farmily Feud (12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m.); Bear Hollow Wood Carvers (1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m., 7 p.m.); Absolute Science (2 p.m. and 5 p.m.), Los Moralitos Circus (1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m.); Hoo Haven show (2:30 p.m.); Robotics Team (3:30 p.m., 5 p.m.)

• National Pedal Pullers registration will begin at 3 p.m. and the event will start at 4 p.m.

• Junior Miss Pageant will be at 6 p.m.

• Love and Thunder will perform in the entertainment tent beginning at 8 p.m.

• Grandstand entertainment will be Truck Races at 7 p.m. Admission is $7, or $20 including a pit pass. Kids ages 8 and under are free.

Aug. 17 . Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for seniors age 60 and older/children ages 9-12. Kids 8 and under are free.

• Antique tractors will be on display from noon until 9 p.m. The Antique Tractor Parade is at 6:30 p.m.

• Family entertainment includes Farmily Feud (12:30 p.m., 4 p.m., 6:30 p.m.); Bear Hollow Wood Carvers (1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m., 7 p.m.); Dr. Watson Karaoke (2:30 p.m.); Los Moralitos Circus (3 p.m., 5 p.m.); Absolute Science (1 p.m., 5 p.m.)

• 4-H Fashion Review at 6 p.m., 4-H Performing Arts Contest at 7 p.m.

• Daytime grandstand entertainment will be the Farmer's Classic Tractor Pull at 1 p.m. Admission is $7. Kids 8 and under are free.

• National Pedal Pullers registration will begin at 3 p.m. and the event will start at 4 p.m.

• Evening grandstand entertainment will be the Badger State Tractor Pull at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $7. Kids 8 and under are free.

• Brushville will perform in the entertainment tent beginning at 10 p.m

Aug. 18 . Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for seniors age 60 and older/children ages 9-12. Kids 8 and under are free.

• Horse show is from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Admission is $7. Kids 8 and under are free.

• The 4-H Fur and Feather Sale starts at 11:30 a.m. The 4-H Livestock Auction is at 1 p.m.

• Antique tractors will be on display from noon until 9 p.m.

• Family entertainment includes Farmily Feud (noon, 2:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m.); Mending Hearts Rescue (1 p.m.); Bear Hollow Wood Carvers (1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m., 7 p.m.); Absolute Science (4 p.m., 6 p.m., Los Moralitos Circus (2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m.); Hoo Haven (4:30 p.m.); 4-H Family Fun Night (7 p.m.)

• Soul 2 Soul will perform in the entertainment tent starting at 4 p.m. Pablo and the Rythmix will perform in the entertainment tent starting at 9 p.m.

• Grandstand entertainment will be the Illinois State Pullers Truck Pull at 7 p.m. Admission is $7. Kids 8 and under are free.

Aug. 19 . Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for seniors age 60 and older/children ages 9-12. Kids 8 and under are free.

• Antique tractors will be on display from noon until 9 p.m.

• Family entertainment includes Farmily Feud (noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m.); Los Moralitos Circus (1 p.m.); Forever Friends (2 p.m.)

• Midway closes at 6 p.m.

• Grandstand entertainment will be a Demo Derby at 2 p.m. Admission is $7. Kids 8 and under are free.
