CHICAGO (AP) — Authorities in Chicago have tied at least 10 deaths to the heat wave that eased its grip on the region Saturday.

The Cook County medical examiner's office said Saturday that heat was a factor in four more deaths. Earlier in the week, the office tied six other deaths to the oppressive heat.

The newly reported heat victims are a 65-year-old woman, a 53-year-old man, a 46-year-old woman and an unidentified man about 30 years old. The medical examiner listed heart conditions and obesity as factors in the deaths, except for the unidentified man. His cause of death is listed only as heat stroke.
