FNBT to host series of free coin appraisals

First National Bank and Trust will be hosting a series of free coin appraisal events during the coming months. Ron Beckstrom of Golden Rule Coins will be on site to tell bank visitors what their old and valuable currency is worth and make offers to purchase some of the appraised currency. This free service, open to all community members, will be available from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on the following dates:

BMHS Class of 1955 plans 60th reunion

Culver’s donates funds to Merrill Center

Rich Franklin, left, of Culver’s restaurant, gives a check for $290.85 to Regina Duncan, center, Merrill Community Center Executive Director. Standing on either side of Duncan are Donna Harold, director of Concordia University and Jenniffer Julseth, Concordia Admissions Counselor. Concordia University partners with area non-profit groups during Scoopie Nights at Culver’s when money can be raised for the agencies and when Concordia can tell people about the Concordia Beloit Center, which is in Morgan Square near Culver’s.
