South Beloit firefighters responded to a house fire at 804 Gardner St. Wednesday afternoon. Fire Chief Ken Morse said the fire was reported at 1:45 p.m. The fire was contained in a bedroom area. Four people were in the house at the time, but no one was injured. Gardner Street was blocked while fire crews were on the scene. About $50,000 damage was reported to the house.
