‘Emphasizing good character'
The first annual Character Counts Storyfest was held on Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Eclipse Center. It was well attended and a resounding success. Broad based support from the community came from Beloit Police and Fire Departments, School District of Beloit, Kiwanis, Culvers, Stateline Community Foundation, Best Events Catering, Turtle Creek Book Store, First National Bank and many supportive individuals.
The purpose of this event was to emphasize to the community the importance of good character, and to recognize students from the School District of Beloit who demonstrated exemplary character in their daily lives.
Again, thanks to the Beloit community for supporting this successful event.
