Rides home offered New Year's Eve
ROCKFORD - The Winnebago County Sheriff's Department in conjunction with Rockford Health Systems and Maverick Media, will conduct the annual Sheriff's New Year's Eve Ride Home program.
The program runs from 11 p.m. Sunday to 4 a.m. Monday when county residents who have had too much to drink can call for a free ride home. To call for a ride, call (815)639-4674.
