Stateline Area Business People in the News
Linda Lynch, Community Relations/Volunteer Coordinator for Beloit Memorial Hospital, was recently selected as the hospital's Employee of the Year.
Lynch has been with the hospital for more than 17 years and oversees the activities of almost 400 hospital volunteers, along with her responsibilities in Community Relations. Her organization, motivation and enthusiasm for her work, are just a few of her admired attributes.
In addition, Hagit Vardi in the Education Department, was selected as the Wellness Employee of the Year for her personal wellness and her inspiration to others.
Shyla Thayer, Payroll and Cari Bellard, Accounts Payable, were honored for the Teamwork Award.
Hospital employees nominate candidates and the winners are selected by an employee committee.
Scott Moen was promoted to area coach with Pizza Hut of Southern Wisconsin.
Scott went to work fixing the operations and building the teams at Beloit Delivery, Janesville Delivery East, and Roscoe in 2003.
Moen's area is currently achieving above Pizza Hut of Southern Wisconsin's goals for under 39, in-store times, CHAMPS checks, and CER Inspections.
His stores have demonstrated sales growth at over 8 percent, margin improvements close to 3 percent. JDE and Beloit Delivery were in the PHSW Top 10 Top Performers in the first quarter of 2005.
This year, Moen has also developed two general managers, Jason Unger at Roscoe and Dave Moser at the Highcrest location in Rockford.
Rob Theisen has been promoted to the partner development program of Virchow, Krause and Company in Janesville.
Theisen joined the firm in 1986. He specializes in construction and real estate services, with experience in taxation and servicing contracting clients. He is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a bachelors of business administration degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. He and his wife, Patty, have two children who live in Janesville.
