'A fine medical institution'

Published: Monday, June 13, 2005 11:37 AM CDT
I want to publicly thank Dr. Mario Rojas, Dr. Ken Gold, and the anesthesiologists for my recent eye surgery.

I happened to be the first person at Beloit Memorial Hospital to receive the new eye surgery called apodized diffractive technology. For the first time in years I can see details such as the leaves on trees. People's faces used to be distorted to me and now I see them clearly.

Thanks to everyone for all your prayers on my behalf, especially to the anesthesiologists for their skill and care when it was so difficult to get the I-V line started. I want everyone to know what a fine medical institution we have in Beloit Memorial Hospital.

May God bless you all.
