Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred at about 8:58 p.m. Saturday at Riverside Drive and Newark Road.
According to the accident report, Mark A. Rimnac, 29, of the 700 block of Newfield Drive, Beloit, was southbound on Riverside Drive when a northbound brown Blazer turned left onto Newark Road in front of him. The collision pushed Rimnac's vehicle into a traffic light pole.
Rimnac was taken to Beloit Memorial Hospital where his condition was not immediately available. He was cited for operating after suspension and having an unregistered vehicle.
The other vehicle has not yet been located.

Becky Jo Dorris, 32, of the 600 block of South Bluff, South Beloit, was arrested for felony bail jumping and forgery in two separate incidents Sunday afternoon.
Crime:

A robbery/assault occurred in the 1700 block of Sixth Street between 9:40 p.m. Friday and 9:55 p.m. The victim is a 42-year-old man.
A burglary occurred in the 1700 block of Fayette Avenue between 7 a.m. Nov. 5 and 3:30 p.m. Nov. 6. Tools were taken.
A burglary occurred in the 1400 block of Dewey Avenue between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Nov. 8. A Playstation 2 and games were stolen.
South Beloit -
Tools were reported stolen from the 300 block of Springfield Avenue at about 7:05 p.m. Sunday.
