MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (AP) _ Iridex Corp. (IRIX) on Thursday reported a loss of $5.2 million in its fourth quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Mountain View, California-based company said it had a loss of 44 cents.
The medical laser company posted revenue of $10.2 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $12.9 million, or $1.11 per share. Revenue was reported as $41.6 million.
Iridex expects full-year revenue in the range of $37 million to $41 million.
Iridex shares have dropped 23 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $5.88, a fall of 59 percent in the last 12 months.
