Bridge construction progressing

Austin Montgomery/Beloit Daily News The Ironworks Bridge project is proceeding quickly, with the structure being put in place across the Rock River in sections. The privately-funded project is expected to cost $1.1 million. When completed it will span the river linking the Ironworks campus with the area directly behind the Ironworks Hotel and the Heritage View condominiums, all properties developed by the Hendricks group. The pedestrian bridge also will connect with trails on both sides of the river.
