MILWAUKEE - The Janesville-Beloit All-Stars took fourth place at the PGA Junior League Midwest Regional at Brown Deer Golf Course recently.

Cog Hill Ravines, a Chicago area team, went 3-0 in the round-robin competition and scored 26 team points to advance to the nationals in Arizona in November.

The Janesville-Beloit team, made up of 10 players ages 8-13 from Oak Ridge in Milton, The Beloit Club and Prairie Woods in Avalon, finished with 8.5 points.

16U Rage team looks

for players for 2018

BELOIT - The 16U Rage Fastpitch Softball Team is looking for players for its experienced and competition team in 2018.

Tryouts will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday on Diamond 5 at the Stateline Youth Sports Complex, 3301 Prairie Ave., Beloit.

Private tryouts are also available upon request if unable to make Sunday's tryout.
