Local stars to hit gridiron

OSHKOSH, Wis. - Several local football stars will represent the area in Saturday's Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-Star game, held at Titan Stadium on the campus of UW-Oshkosh at 2 p.m.

Representing the area on the South Small School team will be Peyton Pope, Jordan Jones and Cole Ciochon from Clinton. Brodhead-Juda will have a presence as well, with Jared Hansen making the South squad.

Pope, Ciochon and Jones were huge pieces of the best football team in Clinton history. The Cougars made it all the way to the WIAA Division 5 state semifinals before being eliminated by Cedar Grove-Belgium.
