ROCKTON — A Sunday fire sent the Rockton Fire Department to the 100 block of Bridge Street, after a man reported a blaze at his three-car garage.

The home owner was using a grinding tool in the garage, and sparks from the tool caught the back of the garage on fire, according to Rockton fire officials.

The man made it out with minor injuries after attempting to extinguish the blaze.

Officials said the fire was a total loss, and one car and two snowmobiles were in the garage at the time of the fire.
