Sex offender released to Rock Valley Program

JANESVILLE — Lee A. Poffenberger, 35, a convicted sex offender, will be released to Rock Valley Community Program, 203 W. Sunny Lane, Janesville on Tuesday.

Poffenberger was convicted of First Degree Sexual Assault of a Child on Sept. 28, 2004.

While placed at Rock Valley Community Program, conditions of Poffenberger’s supervision includes, but are not limited to: no activities in the community without prior approval of the DCC Supervising Agent; no contact with minors; no patronizing taverns, bars or liquor stores; no contact with victims; not to consume alcohol or drugs; comply with standard sex offender rules; and cooperate with GPS monitoring.
