BMHS wrestling team rolls at Belleville

BELLEVILLE, Wis. — The Beloit Memorial wrestling team came away with a road victory Thursday night, defeating Belleville 55-20.

The Purple Knights received pins from Sethe Schober (160), Isaiah Roundtree (170), Amaurii Grosskopf (106) and Daren Taber (113).

Bobby Johnson (120) and Tyler Curtis-Dupuis (138) each recorded wins via decision.

• TURNER 67, PALMYRA-EAGLE 0: The Trojans recorded a road shutout Thursday as they hammered the Panthers to remain unbeaten in Rock Valley Conference competition.

The Panthers were forced to forfeit four matches, while two weight classes ended in double forfeits.

Ste’fan Golden (138), Drew Ries (160), Trey Griinke (182) and Tyler Burt (220) all recorded pins while Cole Walker (132) and Giovanni Haney (170) won on points.

• BRODHEAD-JUDA 42, PARKVIEW 15: The Cardinals cruised past the Vikings Thursday in a Rock Valley Conference dual meet.

There were just four matches that didn’t result in forfeits. Parkview’s Byron Brown (152) defeated Jeffrey Williams 10-7, while the Vikings’ Gavon Brown (170) recorded the evening’s only pin against James Harper.

Brodhead-Juda’s wins came via Blake Burns (138) and Russell Waeffler (120).
