Rock County Christian School has announced two finalists who participated in the Optimist Oratorical Contest on March 16: Veronica Hausser, at left, 8th grade; and Elliana Simonson, 7th grade. Hausser placed first at the local contest and will advance to district level competition in April. The local contest is an annual event sponsored by the Beloit Breakfast Optimist Club. This year’s theme was “How My Best Brings Out the Best in Others.” Turner Middle School, Townview Elementary and Clinton Middle School also participated.
