Beloit police investigate shooting, bullet hits Head Start building

Beloit police are investigating a shooting that took place near the corner of Dewey and Summit Avenues this morning, Friday,May 3.

One of the bullets fired reportedly went through a window at the Head Start Building on Henry Avenue. The shooting was reported at 10:27 a.m. when two groups of individuals exchanged words before one individual started firing shots, according to Beloit police.

No injuries were reported and no one was in the room where the shot went through the window at Head Start.
