Drowning victim in Town of Beloit identified

The body of a man found in the Rock River in the Town of Beloit has been identified.

The body of Ryhene Jamel Thomas, 25, was found in the 2000 block of Pow Wow Trail in the Town of Beloit at 5:55 p.m., according to Town of Beloit Police Sgt. Laura Palmer.

Thomas had been missing since Dec. 22.

No foul play is suspected in the case.
