After taking over just before the season started last season, Beloit Turner baseball head coach Jeff Clowes didn’t have much time to get acclimated.

With a full off-season of work and several players returning from a solid 19-9 squad last season, Clowes is excited to finally get this season underway.

“We can’t wait to get started,” Clowes said. “The guys have worked really hard in the off-season, and they’ve worked really hard here in the gym as well.”

The Trojans beat Monroe in the WIAA regionals last season before falling 15-7 to Clinton, and Clowes believes this team has the opportunity to be improved.
