Roscoe man's body found in Rock River

The name of the man whose body was recovered from the Rock River Sunday has been released.

Richard Leach, 30, was pronounced dead at 7:40 a.m. by officials from the Winnebago County Coroner's Office.

Roscoe Police and Harlem Roscoe Fire Department personnel were called to the area of 100 River Street around 6:18 a.m. when a fisherman reported seeing a body in the river. The body was recovered.

No foul play is suspected at this time, according to the news release.
