Richard A. Willis, 60, of Beloit, WI, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Beloit Memorial Hospital.

He was born June 26, 1953 in Gladstone, MI, the son of Lila Willis. Richard married Delia Francisco on September 7, 1975 in the Philippines. She predeceased him in February of 2012.

Richard proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed collecting cast iron cars, angels, and crosses. Richard loved everything about country music.

Survivors include his mother, Lila Deringer of Beloit, WI; three bothers, George Trickie of Beloit, WI, Ben Trickie of North Carolina, and Cliff Trickie of Beloit, WI; one sister, Nancy Soner of Washington; one brother-in-law, Dennis (Lily) Wiley of Nevada; six nieces and nephews, Greg Trickie, David Trickie, Dustin Ray Trickie, Clifford Trickie, Jessie Trickie, and Taylor Trickie; several great nieces and great nephews; special friends, Janine (Robert) Jones, Dennis and Maggie Senz; Kiki Smith, who Richard and Delia considered as a daughter.

He was predeceased by his wife, Delia, his grandmother, Louise Willis, and sister in law, Deanna Trickie.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd. Beloit, WI, with Fr. Bill Nolan officiating. Burial will be in the Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens, South Beloit, IL. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday in the funeral home.
