Shawn David Bell was born September 3, 1985 in Beloit, Wisconsin, the son of David Lane Bell and Cassandra Bell-Hardnett, and stepfather, Albert Brooks. He lived a short life of 25 years, gone too soon on August 1, 2011.

Shawn David Bell received his high school diploma in Sturdavant, Wisconsin in 2007.

He leaves to cherish his many memories, his parents, a one year old son, Ricardo E. Bell-Pulliam, special friend, Kendalyn Pulliam, brother, Tyrone Delon (Corrine) Bell, sister, Stephanie Lynn Bell, niece, Day’Jahnay Foy, nephews, Sincer’e Foy, Davis Foy Jr., David Foy, and Ty’Shaun Bell, maternal grandmother, Luvenia Hardnett-Miller, paternal grandmother, Clendora Bell, great aunt, Flora Crockett, great uncle, Andrew Wofford, god sister, Ashley Harper, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Shawn was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Reverend George Hardnett Sr., paternal grandfather, Caris Bell, nephew, Tyrone Delon Bell, Jr., and aunt, Charlene Bell.

Funeral services are 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at New Life Ministries, 1400 Harvey Avenue in Beloit with Reverend Sherrick Anderson of Higher Ground Christian Center, 3160 Park Avenue in Beloit, officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Hansen-Gravitt Funeral Home in Beloit is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
